Our digital replica of a scene from the movie 'Trial' (1975), was created in-house as part of our studio concept initiative. As we expand our services to include CG content creation, we wanted to showcase our capabilities with 3D software such as Unreal Engine, Cinema4D and Blender.

Using these powerful tools, we created a detailed 3D model of the scene, rigged our 3D character, and animated his movements to recreate the iconic scene from the movie.

“The Trial” is a 1975 Japanese movie directed by Shūji Terayama. It is a short film that was shown in “Pastoral: To Die in the Country” in Japan.
A mind-bending, surrealist work of art, "The Trial" presents a mysterious and enigmatic 'nail' motif. Throughout the film, the relentless hammering, symbolic phallic imagery, aggressive intrusion, and revolutionary themes weave together an intricate narrative. In a unique twist, the final ten minutes of this 1975 Japanese short film allow the audience to actively participate, offering them an opportunity to drive nails into the screen themselves.
